Mending and repairing our clothes is the simplest way of practicing sustainability.  Come spend an enjoyable afternoon "slow stitching" amongst friends.

Ruby Dosen, local Saratoga Artist and Maker, will introduce you to a variety of simple hand stitching techniques, which you will incorporate into your well loved garment or household textile item.

PARTICIPANTS are asked to bring one garment item to mend, (preferably non stretchy) sweaters and wool items are fine jeans, shirts, jackets, etc. Participants are welcome to bring their own sewing kit/patching supplies if they choose to do so, or purchase any necessary supplies in the shop.
