Discover the precision and creativity of foundation paper piecing (FPP) in this beginner-friendly workshop! Workshop will be taught by special guest teacher Shayna Bennett of Stray Cat Quilt Designs.

In this class, you’ll make a single FPP block that can stand alone as a mini quilt or framed for display. By the end of class, you’ll have a beautiful block, the confidence to try more FPP projects, and tips for continuing your quilting journey. No prior paper piecing experience is required. The class fee includes FPP templates and a frame. 

What you’ll learn:

• How to read and prepare a foundation paper piecing pattern
• Step-by-step techniques for precise piecing by hand or on a sewing machine
• Tips for trimming, pressing, and finishing your block

What to bring:
6-12 fat quarters or large scraps and matching thread, 9” x 9” square of batting, sewing machine OR needles for hand sewing, scissors, and pins.
